Where are we?

The world is different.

Just a few months ago, the world felt like it was in a totally different place. There was some semblance of unity. Everyone was working on a better tomorrow.

"It will get worse before it gets better"

Companies like Amazon, Starbucks, and many other corporations are closing stores and laying off thousands of people.

In the coming days we will see more downsizing and signs of recession. Stocks, real estate, and other asset classes are at all time highs. Wages remain stagnant. Job numbers are abysmal. The government has been shutdown for over 4 weeks.

How will we fix these things? I have no idea. But, there is one thing I am 100% sure of.

Mankind will always find it's way. New technologies will emerge. New business will rise to the world stage. More and more everyday people will see their dreams realized.

We live in strange times although there are plenty of problems to solve and some gloomy days ahead, it will get better. Technology has opened doors we never thought possible. One person is all it takes to completely change the course of the future.

You can be the change that the world needs. You can do anything you can dream of. You can create the next OPENAI. You can read all of the books. You can create all of the software, the art, the message that the world needs to affect change.
